A Taste of Salt is an alternative music project born from the urge for creativity and musical expression.
The name comes from the thought of what life itself and our personal experiences taste like.
A Taste of Salt was the first thing that came to mind, and so a new journey began.
I am Stefanos Barbalias, and this is A Taste of Salt.

About the Artist
Stefanos Barbalias is a songwriter, composer, performer, sound designer, and actor. He specialises in composing for video art projects, art installations, and dance productions. Additionally, he is known for his work in creating and performing multimedia theatre projects.
He graduated from the Athens School of Drama "George Theodosiadis" in 2000 and completed his music studies in piano, guitar, and electronic music production. He is also a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
The projects he has collaborated on as a composer and sound designer have been presented at prominent venues, including the Venice Biennale, the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens, the Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, the Documentary Film Festival of Thessaloniki, the Onassis Cultural Centre, the Hellenic American Union, Dino Morra Arte Contemporanea, the Prague Biennale, and Greek National Television.
